DIRECTIONS

From the Bay area you can take 5 or 101 north. From 5, go north to Redding and 299 West, past Weaverville, through Junction City to Bigfoot Campground. 1-800-422-5219.

From 101 go north, to Arcata and East on 299 approximately 10 miles past Big Flat and before Junction City to Bigfoot Campground.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Trinity River is a lively but forgiving class III river trip especially fun for youth groups and families. Be sure to check the "what to bring " list in your brochure. This is a car camping river trip so pack for all extremes. Do not forget to bring silverware, plate and cup. For environmental reasons we try to use as few disposable items as possible. Because of strict insurance requirements and general safety reasons we cannot allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages on the river nor do we provide alcoholic beverages (except beer at lunch and wine at dinner). In other words BYOB. Please note reservations and cancellation requirements in the brochure. DON'T FORGET SUNBLOCK! !
